Construction
Water Technology | SRH University – Heidelberg
1.5-year (3-semester) Master of Engineering
Germany is experiencing a surge in building permits, with construction projects expected to increase through 2026 and beyond. As the country works toward greenhouse gas neutrality by 2045, expertise in sustainable building practices is increasingly valuable.
The water engineering master’s degree from SRH University – Heidelberg could be a great opportunity for students interested in sustainable resource management, international water management, and engineering.
Students with engineering degrees can enter this course directly, but if you have a non-engineering degree, you’ll need to take a one-semester preliminary engineering course first.
Students can complete a capstone project before their thesis with an international company. This is a great opportunity to build a professional network and see what working in water technology is like. You can also add on an optional semester (extending the course to four, instead of three, semesters) to complete an internship.
