We’re thrilled to share some exciting developments within ApplyBoard Inc.

ApplyBoard Inc. (“ApplyBoard”) has been on an incredible trajectory during its more than seven-year journey. We’ve helped more than 500,000 students with their study abroad dreams, expanded our team to more than 1,500 worldwide, and partnered with an impressive 1,700 schools to impact our students and the sector significantly.

While we have accomplished so much, with every passing day we know millions of students still need access to education to improve their lives and our global societies. These students often fall further and further behind due to several reasons outside their control. Even with these challenges, we see powerful opportunities to help!

One of the biggest problems in the world is financial access to education. Students who don’t have sufficient money and quality education can be left behind. We want to create a better world for generations. A world where everyone has access to good quality education, even if they don’t have the financial means.

With this goal in mind, we’re thrilled to announce that Martin has started to address this pivotal problem. In this new initiative, he will be tackling a significant worldwide issue: financial access to education. Martin will share more with you about this initiative in the near future.

Along with this new opportunity for impact, the roles of ApplyBoard’s co-founders have changed to reflect the current operations of ApplyBoard and our overall mission moving forward. The stewardship of the new organization will be in addition to Martin’s ongoing commitment to ApplyBoard, as he will guide the business’s long-term growth, trajectory, and strategic initiatives as a member of ApplyBoard’s Board of Directors.

Meti continues to serve as ApplyBoard’s Chief Executive Officer (which was effective August 2022), and is dedicated to strengthening internal alignment with the strategic plan and leading the executive team across the organization. Massi also made the important transition to President. ApplyBoard’s global team was informed of these changes as part of a planned transition shortly after they went into effect in August.

These role changes aim to reflect the work we can and will be doing to grow and thrive in the decades to come. ApplyBoard will continue to have an enormous global impact as we change the lives of millions of students. In this, we have no doubt. We will do this as a team. We will evolve, we will adapt, and we will grow. Our talented and dedicated global team is the heart and soul of ApplyBoard, and we can’t thank them enough for all we’ve accomplished together.

ApplyBoard continues to grow at an exceptional rate, helping as many or more students start their study abroad journeys in 2022 than we did in the previous six years combined. 2023 is poised to be ApplyBoard’s most impactful and exciting year yet.

Stay tuned as we continue to innovate and improve the sector and the international student journey experience; we’re just getting started!
