About Bachelor of Music with Management Option (UNU)

Laurier's Bachelor of Music trains musicians of all interests, inspiring future performers, composers, theorists, educators, musicologists and alumni who pursue careers in law, medicine and business. Performing opportunities are endless at Laurier. 

Moreover, each year, guest artists and educators will visit Laurier to lead a masterclass, workshop or lecture and to perform. As a student they will get to work closely with leading Canadian and international artists, giving students a new opportunity to grow and explore their discipline.

Students must choose one of the subjects of major interest at the time of application from the following:

Management Option:
The fundamentals of business are at the heart of any organization and many careers. While students complete their degree in an Arts, Economics, Science or Music program, Wilfrid Laurier University Management Option will provide students with an understanding of the core principles of the business world, including accounting, marketing, human resources, operations, policy, and finance. Students will take courses such as Understanding the Business Environment; Introduction to Financial Accounting; Introduction to Microeconomics or Macroeconomics; and Statistics.
