The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.
This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.
The Bachelor of Science in Mathematics is very broad, allowing graduates to explore topics like abstract algebra, black holes and relativity, networks, and machine learning. They will learn abstract and structured thinking skills while studying mathematics, statistics and operational research. Employers will look for students' skills in finance, industry, education and they could move into a career working on scientific and social challenges.
