The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.
This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.
Actuaries are the world’s financial architects and engineers. Their expertise is vital to the management of pension funds, general insurance companies and investment by financial institutions. On the Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with Actuarial Science graduates will learn to tackle the uncertainties of future events using mathematics, probability and statistics to create models and simulations. This degree will provide them with the technical skills needed for a career as an actuary.
