About Master of Arts (Honours) - Russian Studies and Classics (RQ78)

Approximately 150 million individuals worldwide speak Russian, a language that holds significant importance in global cultural and political spheres. It serves as the official language in four countries and is widely comprehended across Eastern Europe. Moreover, in the past three decades, Russian has witnessed an unprecedented level of transnational mobility. By studying Russian and Classics, one can gain a deeper understanding of the contemporary world while also shedding light on the past.

Participants in this program will delve into the profoundly influential scholarship and literature of the classical world, which laid the foundation for Western society. They can choose to pursue a pathway in Latin, Greek, or non-language aspects of Classics study.
