About Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) - Mechanical Engineering (H380)

Program Description

Those students enjoy being hands on with technology and creating solutions to complex problems should consider mechanical engineering. Learn to design and manufacture mechanical products and degree level and excel in this field. Engineers are involved in a number of design and development activities and this course make students well-rounded engineers able to exercise leadership, initiative, personal responsibility and decision-making in complex and unpredictable situations.  This course offers the option to specialise in Systems or Design.

This new course for 2021 combines GCU's previous courses BEng/MEng Mechanical Systems Engineering and BEng/MEng Computer-Aided Mechanical Engineering to bring students the knowledge, skills and experiences needed to excel as a graduate in the mechanical engineering field.

Accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, this course fully meets the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.
