We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track information about your use of our website and services, enhance your experience, and combine this information with other personal information we collect. By using our website and services, you agree to the use of these technologies as described below.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help us remember your preferences and understand how you interact with our site.

We use several categories of cookies and each performs different functions. You can learn more about cookies and their functions generally by visiting an information website like allaboutcookies.org.

Strictly Necessary Cookies The Personal Information of prospective applicants to the Institution. ApplyBoard will process the Personal Information in relation to the Institution’s prospective applicants in providing the Services to the Institution. ApplyBoard will process the Personal Information for the duration of the Agreement.
Performance Cookies These types of cookies allow us to recognize, count the number of visitors, and see how visitors move around our website when they are using it. This helps us improve website works, for example, by ensuring that you can find what you are looking for easily.
Functionality Cookies These cookies are used to recognize you when you return to our website. They enable the personalization of content, recognition of users, and also remember your user preferences (for example, your choice of language or region).
Targeting Cookies These cookies record your visit to our website, the individual pages visited, and the links followed. If the cookie is set by a third party (for example, an advertising network) which also monitors traffic on other websites, this type of cookie may also be used to track your movements across different websites and to create profiles of your general online behavior. Information collected by tracking cookies is commonly used to target online advertising.

The four types of cookies above will either be session cookies, which expire once you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain after you close your browser. Additionally, we use technologies such as HTML5 storage, clear GIFs, and pixel tags for website functionality and analytics.

Managing cookies

Manage your cookie preferences:

ApplyBoard uses a cookie consent tool, which you can use to customize your cookie preferences. When you visit our website for the first time, a cookie consent banner will pop up and ask you to choose your cookie preferences. Please note that Strictly Necessary Cookies cannot be disabled and if you decide to opt-out of Functional Cookies, certain functionality of our websites or your account may be impacted.  Any choices concerning cookies are browser and/or device specific. If you clear your cookies from your browser on any of your devices, your choices will need to be reset.

Manage cookies using your browser:

In addition to using our cookie consent tool, you can use your browser settings to opt out of functional cookies and advertising cookies. For more information on how to do that, please check https://www.aboutcookies.org/.

Universal opt-out mechanisms:

You can use additional tools to inform websites of your privacy preferences in regard to ad trackers. To start, you can visit https://globalprivacycontrol.org/#about or https://allaboutdnt.com. Please note that this may impact the functionality of our websites or your account.

Third party service providers:

To provide you with a secure and effective platform, we work with a number of partners and service providers to help carry out our Services. This includes companies that process your payment safely, host our data, protect against fraud, and more.
