The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.
This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.
The Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology with Oceanography examines the biology of marine organisms within their environments, from intertidal coasts to deep sea and hydrothermal vent systems. Graduates will learn the way marine plants and animals interact with their environment and respond to change. The course will give them knowledge about the biology of the marine environment, and the way it relates to physical and chemical oceanography.
