The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.
This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.
The Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology will broaden students' knowledge of biological sciences, chemistry, physics and mathematics. They will study biology and ecology within the specific context of marine systems. Candidates will spend time on the University of Southampton's research vessels carrying out boat-based field work. They will graduate with highly-respected biological and oceanographic skills for a range of careers.
