The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.
This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.
Graduates will gain an in-depth understanding of how to design and build computer systems in this 3-year computer engineering degree. They will learn how to apply knowledge and mathematical principles in the design and implementation of modern diverse and distributed computer systems. Students will gain valuable skills in teamwork, project planning, time management and presentation. This could even involve working together to create a combined hardware and software robotic system and collaborating with Artificial Intelligence (AI) students to give it intelligence.
