The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.
This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.
The Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with Digital Methods with Computational Modelling degree combines traditional chemistry with computational skills – an emerging specialism that is increasingly valued by employers across a large range of fields. Data science, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning are allowing scientists to make discoveries and run experiments faster and at lower cost. On this degree graduates will gain the chemistry knowledge and computing skills they need to join this fast-growing field.
