The Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP) offers successful students guaranteed progression to the University of Southampton. This program is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at the University of Southampton.
This program includes English and three academic subject modules. There are three academic pathways to choose from and candidates will study the pathway most suited to their chosen progression degree. The pathways are: Business, Economics, Finance and Management, Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Art and Design.
Graduates will learn to become a software engineer as they develop reliable, complex and secure software systems. From mobile banking apps to aircraft autopilot controls, they will learn to analyze software needs, then design, test and build a system that meets them. On the Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering degree students will combine hands-on software development with a core knowledge of software engineering.
