Specifically designed for students who may have already obtained a HND or equivalent qualification, this BA (Hons) International Business degree allows them to top up to a full bachelor degree in less than a year. This course gives focus to the increasingly globalized world humans live in. Having a good understanding of the key aspects of doing business on a global scale will certainly give students an advantage in the workplace.
During their studies, learners will gain a better understanding of how international trade works and learn about the different issues facing global business, including how this might affect the traditional business management functions such as marketing, human resources and purchasing and supply.
Students will examine core aspects of business such as business strategy and communication in a global context, whilst also getting the chance to conduct an investigation into a business problem that allows them to apply their business acumen to a real life scenario. As part of the BA (Hons) International Business (Top Up) course learners will undertake a specialist module on international culture and communication which will allow them to explore the role culture plays in shaping organizational communication.
