International Office Scholarships
Overview
The University of South Wales offers its International Office Scholarships to support self-funding international students. This award is granted automatically and provides a renewable tuition fee discount of up to £1,500 for undergraduate students and up to £2,000 for postgraduate students for every year of study. There is no need to make a separate application.
Scholarship Value and Duration
This generous scholarship is designed to provide sustained support throughout your academic journey at the University of South Wales.
- Undergraduate Students (including top-ups): A renewable scholarship of up to £1,500 for every year of study.
- Postgraduate Students: A renewable scholarship of up to £2,000 for every year of study.
The scholarship is applied annually, providing a consistent reduction in your tuition fees as long as you are enrolled in an eligible programme.
How to Apply
You will be automatically considered for this scholarship when the university receives your application for an eligible course. You do not need to fill out a separate form. If you are successful, confirmation of your scholarship will be included directly in your offer letter. To secure your award, you must pay the minimum deposit as stipulated in your offer letter by the deadline on your Acceptance Form.
Eligibility
These scholarships are the standard awards for self-funding international students. You will be automatically considered if you are an international applicant who is not eligible for other region-specific awards, such as the Chancellor's International Development Scholarship.
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a self-funding international student.
- Be enrolled in an eligible full-time, on-campus undergraduate or postgraduate course.
Exclusions
Please note that this scholarship does not apply to the following:
- Students who are sponsored by a government or a company.
- Students undertaking a placement year.
- Students enrolled in English language courses.
