About Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Event Management
Event management is a fascinating career that can see graduates working on inspiring projects all over the world. It offers a balance of theoretical and practical learning that explores the latest trends and practices in the events management, tourism and hospitality business. It’s also ranked inside the top 10 of the Guardian University League Table 2019 for tourism, hospitality and event management. This course draws on the latest theories and global case studies to explore why some events succeed and others fail. Students will learn about event marketing, risk and security and hospitality operations. They’ll also have the chance to study abroad in one of Hertfordshire's partner universities worldwide and to take an optional six-month internship at Walt Disney World, Florida, and study at the University of California Riverside.
