UX/UI design is a flourishing field in today’s creative industries, thanks to skilled designers and researchers. Technology and services in UX/UI design are increasingly accessible and enjoyable. Success in this field hinges on prioritising user experience. This interdisciplinary UI/UX Design course at UE covers topics such as user experience, visual interface design and emotional interaction between humans and technology.
The UI/UX Design curriculum takes students on a journey through the industry, enabling them to acquire the skills and knowledge to further their careers. Combining a user experience design degree and a user interface design degree, the curriculum covers areas including human-centred design, the business of UX and technologies for augmented, virtual and mixed realities. As well as this, the UI/UX Design curriculum includes a semester abroad or an internship opportunity for students in their fifth semester.
