Bachelor of Science - Agriculture - Agricultural Leadership - International (BSAG)

Agricultural leadership provides students with a deep understanding of leadership theory and its application. The five core values of the major are commitment to agriculture, authentic leadership, diversity, critical thinking and professionalism.

Agricultural leadership students will graduate with a solid foundation in leadership as it relates to effectively working with people and teams from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Students can take advantage of the major’s flexibility to customize their coursework according to their career interests.

The international studies option in agricultural leadership combines agriculture with international studies and a foreign language component to prepare students to impact agriculture globally. International studies in agricultural leadership students will take courses related to international leadership, which will allow students to gain an understanding of cultures, enhance their people skills and assist in problem-solving in international settings.
