The business students aim for a manager or director’s office, but such positions require preparation via a multidimensional program of study. This degree provides the tools for analysis, strategic planning, accounting, budgeting, leadership, and more. By pursuing a degree in management at Northern Arizona University, students will build the necessary professional expertise to be an effective business leader.
The students will prepare for a career in general management, human resource management, or small business management. Courses emphasize leadership, group dynamics and teamwork, analytical problem solving, and ethics. They will also prepare to manage change in the international business arena. Students also have an opportunity to gain practical experience through research and class projects for business, government, and not-for-profit organizations.
