The Data Science (Foundation Year) BSc route is the perfect opportunity for students to meet the necessary entry requirements to join the traditional three-year degree course. Completing the foundation year will see students join the students from the Data Science BSc, meaning students will graduate with the same title and award as those who studied the three-year course.

Designed with students' interests and future in mind, they'll acquire practical data science skills, often developed by external organisations, which will prepare them for employment. Throughout the four years studying on the course, students will also be trained in the use of up-to-date software tools and environments currently used by the industry sector. An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
