BSc degree in Data Science is designed to provide student with a solid grounding in mathematics and statistics that underpins data science theory and practice. Student will learn about many interesting topics in modern mathematics and data science and be able to apply their data handling skills to real-world problems in a variety of applied fields. Student will learn many practical skills that will enable you to critically analyse, solve and evaluate data-heavy problems – skills that are vital for both employment and further studies.
Student can choose from a number of optional modules in different applications of data science, enabling student to tailor the course to their areas of interest and career aspirations. Student will see how their existing skills can be complemented and enhanced by the acquisition of data science knowledge. Graduates pursue careers in private and public companies, government, and non-governmental organisations.
