Bachelor of Nursing develop a strong foundation in acute nursing care, nursing research and Indigenous health, then specialize in passion areas like mental health nursing and chronic illness. Extend students positive impact with skills in team leadership, caseload management and time management, giving them the tools and confidence to make ethical clinical decisions with empathy and compassion.
In this course students will:
- Take students existing degree into an exciting new career.
- Develop a comprehensive foundation in nursing, including long-term chronic illness care, Indigenous health, biosciences, emergency healthcare and mental health care.
- Learn in La Trobe's on-campus clinical learning units.
- Have the opportunity for clinical opportunities in leading local and global learning facilities.
- Receive advanced standing credits for students previous degree, so you can complete it in two years instead of three.
- Graduate with an AQF Level 7 qualification.
To support students studies, they may be eligible for a La Trobe scholarship or scholarship from the Australian College of Nursing.
