Scholarship Value and Benefits

• Up to 25% reduction in annual tuition fees for the entire duration of your course.
• The scholarship discount is applied to tuition fees for each subject studied.
• Available at Sydney, Albury-Wodonga, Bendigo, City, Melbourne, Mildura, and Shepparton campuses.
• The scholarship amount depends on your academic achievement (WAM or ATAR equivalent).

Eligibility Criteria

• Be an international student (citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand).
• Be a new full fee-paying (non-sponsored) student applying for undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs for 2024 to 2026 intakes.
• Apply to a program listed as eligible by La Trobe University.
• Not hold humanitarian or permanent visas.
• Demonstrate academic excellence as measured by:
  • WAM between 60 and 69.9 or ATAR equivalent 60-69 for a 15% scholarship.
  • WAM between 70 and 74.9 or ATAR equivalent 70-74 for a 20% scholarship.
  • WAM 75 or above or ATAR equivalent 75+ for a 25% scholarship.

Application Process

• No separate application is required; all eligible applicants are automatically considered upon applying for an approved course.
• Scholarship details and the awarded percentage will be included in the Letter of Offer.
• To activate the scholarship, students must accept the offer by paying the required deposit and enroll full-time.
• The scholarship will be reflected on the student’s account after the census date.

Recipient Obligations

• Maintain full-time enrollment at one of La Trobe University’s Australian campuses.
• Achieve satisfactory academic progress throughout the course.
• Comply with all conditions outlined in the Letter of Offer.

Important Dates and Conditions

• Closing date: 31 December 2026
• The scholarship is valid for the duration of the course.
• Failure to meet conditions or pay the deposit on time may result in withdrawal of the scholarship.
