If applicants are passionate about teaching and are keen to build a rewarding career in secondary school teaching, La Trobe University's Master of Teaching (Secondary) is for them. They get the skills, experience and confidence they need to make a real difference in the classroom.
Students will develop up to two curriculum specialisations that will take them straight into the classroom when they graduate. They can choose from science, languages, arts, psychology, physical education and delve deeper in their area of interest with a specialisation in drama, mathematics, physical education, business management, commerce and business, science and visual arts.
The La Trobe University focus on practise-based learning and graduates learn about creating relationships from day one. They be embedded in their community from their first semester and will be mentored by community leaders. Learners understand how to connect with every student as an individual and develop meaningful relationships with students, parents and the wider school community.
