Program Description
Accredited by the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) against the NMC’s 2018 standards, this course in Children’s and Young Peoples’ Nursing will teach students the theory, plus all the analytical, diagnostic and practical skills needed to become a registered nurse for this particular demographic.
Students will be taught by highly qualified and experienced lecturers, practitioners, and a diverse range of guest speakers, in both clinical and community suites, where students will become well-versed in the science and art of nursing children and young people.
To ensure students graduate as a confident and competent healthcare professional, fully prepared for practice, there is a strong emphasis on practical learning where they'll complete the required number of hours and types of placements required for this course.
