Academic Achievement Scholarship (International)

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to overseas applicants for full-time taught or part-time structured postgraduate courses delivered on campus.
• Applicants must have achieved a minimum of a high second-class Honours degree or equivalent according to country-specific grading standards.
• Eligible courses include MSc Public Health, MA Social Work, MSc Physician Associate Studies, and MSc Nutrition & Behaviour.
• Scholarships are not available for:
  • Postgraduate Diploma courses
  • Distance learning or online courses
  • Certain professional development and Postgraduate Diploma courses offered by the Faculty of Health & Social Sciences
  • Student-driven courses

Scholarship Value and Availability

• The scholarship provides a £2,000 award to support your postgraduate studies.
• There is no limit on the number of scholarships available.
• This scholarship can be combined with a Sports or Music scholarship but cannot be combined with any other academic awards.

Application Process and Conditions

• No separate application is required; eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
• Scholarships cannot be deferred to a later entry date.
