The Level 6 Pre-Master’s Program is designed to prepare international students for postgraduate study in the United Kingdom. The program will allow students to improve their English while learning the study skills and research methods that they will need during their Master’s degree studies.
The duration of the Level 6 program is two semesters. Each semester consists of a minimum of 13 teaching weeks. Students will be expected to timetable self-study hours in addition to the classroom-based hours. Each module will have an assessment schedule, which will be completed by the end of the appropriate semester. Assessments will be designed to demonstrate learning across the individual modules of the program and to allow candidates to experience a wide range of the assessment methods used in United Kingdom postgraduate program.
Graduates will learn in-depth about the working of financial markets and money is organization on the Master of Science in Economics and Finance master’s degree. They will study economic analysis and quantitative techniques and learn about global capital markets. The program prepares students for high-level finance roles across the world, and is an Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) recognized training program.
