Starting with the solid foundations of business management, this course looks at specialist concepts and real world applications of international management and strategy through critical analysis, problem solving, team building and entrepreneurship to deliver a degree focused entirely on improving career prospects.
By choosing the BSc International Strategic Business and Management degree, students will gain a thorough understanding of the theory and practice of strategic business management with an international context. This can open up opportunities for employment in a variety of career destinations.
Students will also have an opportunity to qualify for the CMI Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership, dependent on successful completion of relevant modules.
The BSc (Hons) International Strategic Business Management degree course is aimed at students who have an interest in developing knowledge and understanding of the key aspects of international business management and in particular, who are looking to pursue an international career in business management or strategy.
Year One of the course will provide students with a clear understanding of the foundations of business. In Years Two and Three students explore the more specialist concepts and applications of strategic business management in today’s complex international business environment. Throughout the course students will get to develop key employability skills such as research, presentation, critical analysis, problem solving, team work and entrepreneurship.
Graduates will be equipped with the knowledge and professional skills required to add immediate value to any business organization.
Students will undertake a Placement Year working for an employer. With the supervision and support of academics, a Placement Year gives students the chance to gain real world experience, develop leadership skills, and take a significant first step into the highly competitive business world.
