Integrated Masters - Master of Physics - Physics with Astrophysics (Year Abroad)

Physics reaches from the quark out to the largest of galaxies, and encompasses all the matter and timescales within these extremes. 

By combining physics with astrophysics, students will use the principles of physics to explore the cosmos – from this solar system to galaxies and cosmology – and develop an understanding of the material world. Students will study the physical nature of bodies and processes in space, and the instruments and techniques used in modern astronomical research.

Students will have the opportunity to spend their third year studying abroad at one of Kent's partner institutions. This provides a wealth of personal and professional benefits. Students will experience a different culture, establish international contacts, grow in self-confidence and enhance their employability.
