Integrated Masters - Master of Physics - Physics with Astrophysics

Physics gives students the tools to understand this world at a fundamental level, from the smallest sub-atomic particles to the large-scale structure of the universe. By combining this study with astrophysics, students will use the principles of physics, Kent's dedicated astrophysics lab module and fantastic facilities such as the Beacon Observatory, to explore the cosmos – from the solar system to galaxies and cosmology.

This four-year integrated Master's programme (MPhys) allows students to hone the skills needed for research and technical roles in industry, or as a preparation for a PhD. Deepen the knowledge with specialised taught modules and work with an academic to carry out a real, open-ended research project.

Kent's focus is on helping students follow their passion as well as giving students the best possible start to their future. Students will gain a wide range of skills that will open up career pathways in the growing space industry, finance, manufacturing and technology.
