Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Graphic Design

The University of Kent's BA Graphic Design course is designed for creative thinkers ready to channel their ideas into purposeful, dynamic work. As a designer, students will bring their unique perspective and voice and at Kent. Students will also discover how to use those strengths to become an insightful storyteller, communicator, and changemaker. The faculty is here to help students transform their vision into powerful visual narratives that address social, environmental, and ethical challenges – speaking to people across borders, languages and cultures.

Through a blend of core design principles and exposure to new trends and techniques, Students will have the freedom to experiment and explore. Live projects, industry partnerships, and mentoring gives them hands-on opportunities to refine their skills and build a portfolio that represents their personal style and innovative thinking while being informed by industry, so  students can hit the ground running in their career.

Graphic design at Kent is part of a creative community on campus. Students will work alongside students in architecture, spatial and interior design, film, media, and drama. They will expand their creative approach and discover fresh insights from diverse fields. This interconnected experience ensures that, as the design world evolves, students will be equipped with the adaptive skills, knowledge, and confidence to lead, innovate, and make a lasting impact in the creative industries.
