Standard International Pathway Program (IPP) - 2-Semester Pathway + Bachelor of Science - Electromechanical Engineering Technology

Program Description

Electromechanical Engineering Technology (EMET) is an interdisciplinary hands-on engineering technology program that incorporates elements of both electronics and mechanical engineering technology. Students in this program learn the basics in a wide range of topics from both types of systems, as well as fundamental knowledge of physics and mathematics. For electrical systems, students take courses in analog and digital circuits, electronics, microprocessors, instrumentation, and data acquisition. For mechanical systems, students learn about manufacturing, statics, materials, and fluids. UHart's program also trains students in the use of industry-standard technology and software making them ready to be effective on the job from day one.

International Pathway Program

Students should be advised that this is the Standard 2-Semester Pathway option for this program.

The International Pathway Program (IPP) is open to students who need to strengthen their English skills before studying a degree program in the USA. The IPP offers undergraduate students the additional support needed for their first year of university study. Students’ academic, social and personal success are ensured while in the program as they prepare to continue on to their degree.

Each semester students will take a combination of Hartford academic courses (credited) and English courses (non-credit). Course options are dependent upon the required pathway. Once students have reached the required English level, they can progress to their program at the University of Hartford.
