Program Description
Electromechanical Engineering Technology (EMET) is an interdisciplinary hands-on engineering technology program that incorporates elements of both electronics and mechanical engineering technology. Students in this program learn the basics in a wide range of topics from both types of systems, as well as fundamental knowledge of physics and mathematics. For electrical systems, students take courses in analog and digital circuits, electronics, microprocessors, instrumentation, and data acquisition. For mechanical systems, students learn about manufacturing, statics, materials, and fluids. UHart's program also trains students in the use of industry-standard technology and software making them ready to be effective on the job from day one.Students should be advised that this is the Direct Admission option for this program and as such does not offer conditional admission.
