Bachelor of Science - Integrated Elementary and Special Education

The integrated elementary and special education program is a professional preparation program that gives learners an in-depth understanding of disabilities and knowledge of the developmental, academic, and social needs of elementary school-age children.

Students learn through a planned sequence of coursework, independent study, field observations, student teaching, conferences, lectures, and other educational experiences.

Field placements are with children with disabilities and children in general education classrooms.

In our Integrated Elementary Special Education Program, students can earn two certifications in four years, which significantly opens doors to more career options.

Students should be advised that this is the Direct Admission option for this program and as such does not offer conditional admission.
