Program Description
Mathematics has been proven useful in just about every field of human endeavour. It provides a rational, objective means for the foundation of knowledge, and is used in science and exploration, in business and government, in industry and forecasting, in art and in baking – and UEA's BSc Mathematics is incredibly popular as a result.
This course will help develop students' interests in mathematics and statistics, and its flexible format will allow them to combine modules from pure and applied mathematics and statistics covering topics such as the history of mathematics or the theory of teaching mathematics.
The academic side of course will develop students' interests in mathematics and statistics, and its flexible format will allow them to focus on pure and applied mathematics and statistics, or complement their studies with modules from related subjects taught by other UEA Schools, such as meteorology, business, computing, and financial accounting. In this way students can tailor their course to reflect their strengths and interests.
