About Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) - American History with a Placement Year
UEA is home to one of the most established and highly regarded departments in the UK. American history has been taught here for over half of a century. Student will learn with experts doing world-leading research on U.S. history and politics. Student can shape the degree to respond to their interests, from foreign affairs to politics to race to gender.
School 3-Year American History course allows student to tailor the studies around student interests. Student will choose from a range of specialist modules. And studnet can also develop their own bespoke research project.
On this course, Student will normally spend 9-12 months of your third year* in a placement, gaining invaluable work experience and employability skills in a relevant area of choice. Student will be expected to seek their own work placement and will be supported in doing so by UEA’s Career Central Service and the School.
