Program Description
See the world ... and help others see it in ways that benefit their businesses and communities. That sums up the incredible range of options that geographers have for study and work. There are two main branches of geography: human geography and physical geography. Human geographers work in the fields of urban and regional planning, transportation, marketing, real estate, tourism, and international business. Physical geographers forecast the weather, manage land and water resources, and analyze and plan for forests, rangelands and wetlands. Whether at the undergraduate or graduate level, CU Denver is confident students will discover a world of opportunities at the Downtown Campus Geography & Environmental Sciences Department.
