About Master of Science - Counseling Psychology
Designed to meet the rigorous standards for licensure as a professional counselor in the state of Oklahoma, our Master of Science in Counseling Psychology program equips graduates with the knowledge and practical skills to become a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Oklahoma.

Our graduates don't just earn a degree; they gain access to a myriad of career opportunities. Graduates work in private practice, community mental health centers, youth and family service agencies, marriage and family counseling centers, child guidance clinics, university counseling centers, psychiatric hospitals, drug and alcohol treatment centers and shelters or centers for child abuse and domestic violence. Our graduates are also well-prepared to pursue further doctoral-level training at esteemed universities across the nation, expanding their expertise and career opportunities.
We empower students to tackle pressing societal issues by offering specialized training in areas such as child abuse, domestic violence and substance abuse. This unique focus sets our graduates apart, positioning them as advocates for change in their communities.
