About Associate of Applied Science - Construction Engineering Technology
An associate degree in construction engineering technology prepares students for managerial positions in inspection, cost estimating, project planning, field supervision and more.
The program includes classroom, laboratory and industry experiences to prepare students for careers in construction. Students study engineering mechanics, construction contract documents, materials and methods, scheduling, and cost estimating for commercial and residential construction.
Graduates go on to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering Technology or pursue work in the construction industry from construction contractors, engineering firms, construction material suppliers, or public agencies.
