About Master of Arts (Honours) - History of Art (V350)
The History of Art program introduces students to art from various periods and world cultures. Participants in this program will have the opportunity to:
- Gain knowledge on the creation of artworks and the intended audience.
- Analyze artworks within the broader context of visual and material culture.
- Explore the interpretations and significance of artworks and visual culture.
In Years 3 and 4, students can specialize in specific areas of the field and undertake independent research projects and a dissertation. Additionally, in Year 3, students have the chance to study abroad.
