About Master of Arts (Honours) - Archaeology and Ancient History (VV14)
The students will have the opportunity to study the Greek and Roman civilizations from the Bronze Age to Late Antiquity and Byzantium. Additionally, they will be able to explore other ancient peoples and civilizations, including the Etruscans, Persians, and Carthaginians. A comprehensive understanding of Graeco-Roman society within its geographical context will be acquired. The analysis and evaluation of various sources, such as texts, works of art, artefacts, archaeological sites, and other material evidence, will be emphasized.
