Bachelor of Science - Digital Media Innovation

The Digital Media Innovation (DMI) major immerses students in the breadth of digital knowledge to prepare them for new and emerging media roles. The DMI degree is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) -designated program, a federal designation defined by the Department of Homeland Security. It is the only program in the College of Fine Arts and Communication with the STEM designation, integrating communication, media and technology. STEM skills are in high demand, and STEM-based careers offer unique opportunities for those who demonstrate this hybrid of strong communication expertise and advanced technology savvy. The emphasis of the major is on strategic and problem-solving skills that will serve graduates throughout their digital media careers.
