TAFE NSW's Certificate IV in Agriculture is designed for aspiring farm or station managers who want to use their passion and advancing skills to lead exciting agricultural operations.
Students will learn the essentials of agribusiness and gain leadership experience in livestock production, cropping and pasture management. They will specialize in livestock, machinery or cropping and gain unlimited techniques to efficiently oversee workers, manage finances, plan farm operations and handle the pressures of managing a farm or station.
This extensive industry partnerships enable students to learn in a real working farm or Primary Industries Centre with experts in the field.
Upon completion of the certificate, students begin work on the diploma course.
TAFE NSW's Diploma of Agriculture prepares graduates to work in senior supervisory roles such as station manager, property manager, farm production manager, production unit manager or agronomist in the growing agriculture industry.
Depending on students' study location, they’ll learn their skills on working farms with shearing sheds, livestock and machinery. Students will also learn the latest advanced farming technology to gain skills in precision and digital agriculture.
