Students in the Communication and Information Design program learn through studio based education and real world experience. Both help prepare students for a variety of careers.
Students will be engaged in hands-on production of digital information products in the multiple digital design studios. The studios support both PC and Mac operating systems and offer a full suite of software supporting graphic design, digital photography, video production, animation, game development, text layout, and other information design projects.
Students will work with clients in professional situations under the direction of lead writers, documentation specialists, or publication managers. Additionally, they will complete senior-level practicum and portfolio classes.
