About Bachelor of Health Science - Health Science
At Southern Connecticut State University the Bachelor of Health Science degree program prepares its students in the health sciences by providing a comprehensive interdisciplinary foundation in the sciences and allied health fields. Its purpose is to provide each student the necessary prerequisites to apply for admission into professional graduate programs in allied health professions such as athletic training, chiropractic, occupational therapy, physical therapy and other allied health professions.
Students will learn:
- Program leadership includes an occupational therapist, physical therapist, respiratory therapist, nurse and other health related professionals to provide best possible guidance to program operation.
- Interprofessional approach to curriculum design.
- Individualized approach to academic advisement.
