About Bachelor of Arts - Women's, Gender, and Ethnic Studies

The Women’s, Gender, and Ethnic Studies major at Saint Martin's University provides learners with the historical and theoretical frameworks of gender, race, class, sexual identity, status, settler colonialism, and anti-oppression work. They will use disciplinary and interdisciplinary knowledge including intersectional feminist theory, queer theory, and critical race theory that deconstruct traditional hierarchical scholarship and provides new ways of knowing.
