About International Foundation - Undergraduate Pathway - Science and Engineering (5-Term Pathway) Transfer to Master of Engineering (Honours) - Computer Science (Including Professional Experience)
Students will be prepared for entry to Year 1 of an undergraduate degree in a range of subjects including biomedical sciences, computing, engineering, nursing, pharmacy, and science at Queen's University Belfast.
If they have a higher English language level, they may qualify for the iCAS – integrated Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) – program. Combining their pathway and degree in a single study plan, they will only need one visa for the duration of their studies and can apply with alternative English language qualifications to IELTS.
They will:
- Study one of two streams depending on their progression degree: Engineering and Physical Sciences, or Health and Life Sciences.
- Benefit from a range of practical and theoretical work both individually and as part of a group.
- Carry out ecology investigations.
- Take part in an annual Biology Field Trip to an area of outstanding natural beauty.
- Make use of the university's internationally recognized laboratory facilities.
- Learn from subject lecturers on the program who are qualified to PhD level.
