About Bachelor of Science - Agribusiness - Natural Resources (BSAG)
Agribusiness is the study of operations involved in the manufacturing and distribution of agricultural and natural resource input supplies, production operations (farm, ranch, forestry, fishery, etc.) and the storage, distribution and consumption of food, fiber and other products.
Students will learn the business and economics skills needed to become a leader in agriculture or in many other related industries. A major in agribusiness will teach students how to understand agricultural, food and natural resource policies; rural or community development; or environmental and natural resource economics.
The natural resources agribusiness option provides an understanding of how to evaluate environmental and natural resource issues from an economic perspective. This option focuses on the environment and economic impact of agriculture. Courses will prepare students for careers related to natural resources or environmental economics, and allow them to explore economic impacts such as conservation, dams or even irrigation.
