About Bachelor of Science - Agribusiness - International (BSAG)
Agribusiness is the study of operations involved in the manufacturing and distribution of agricultural and natural resource input supplies, production operations (farm, ranch, forestry, fishery, etc.) and the storage, distribution and consumption of food, fiber and other products.
Students will learn the business and economics skills needed to become a leader in agriculture or in many other related industries. A major in agribusiness will teach students how to understand agricultural, food and natural resource policies; rural or community development; or environmental and natural resource economics.
The international agribusiness option provides an understanding of internationally-based companies and government agencies, as well as a foreign language. This stream is designed for students who are interested in working internationally after graduation. This option will give them an understanding of international agricultural trade and will help students develop a foundation of internationally developed business practices.
