About Bachelor of Science - Astronomy
The Students can indulge their scientific curiosity and build a career path. The science of astronomy uses the laws of physics to reveal the nature of celestial objects. This program focuses on astrophysics and planetary science. Students will be encouraged to think independently and to join in faculty research projects. Students will benefit from the proximity to the world-class Lowell Observatory and the university's new twenty-inch research-class telescope. If students want to search for planets outside the solar system, students will receive the guidance they need at Northern Arizona University.
